Brian Garside, the founder of Garside & Co, served as a Senior Inspector of Taxes, within HM Revenue & Customs, leading a team of 40 staff. He, and his current team, deal with all types of investigations launched by HM Revenue & Customs, from minor indiscretions, to serious fraud (COP9) cases.

Our hourly charges are not based on subsidising ornate offices in the centre of large cities, but based on sensible, affordable rates. Generally, £160 per hour. Comparable rates in Birmingham, would be £300 per hour and, in London, £500 per hour

We deal with all levels of investigations into the affairs of individuals, partnerships, estates and limited companies. Usually HM Revenue & Customs assume the moral high ground in their investigations, using accountants simply as providers of documents and answers to what seems to be an endless series of detailed questions. We will ensure that the investigation is brought under control and that clients understand fully their rights and the basis of the enquiries from HM Revenue & Customs.
